98 1100 ABS

Can anyone assist.........please....

last year my 98 GS suffered with a relay which stuck permanently on and buzzed continuously until I took the battery off.......I found that the relay had played about so took it off...cleaned it up and put it back on....since then shes been fine.
I'm just going through my things to do list on the bike and recall I wanted to get a new relay for piece of mind...is this a common fault......why did it do it and will it do it again???just dont fancy breaking down really......any ideas???:adv:

Oh...while I have your attention......anyone play COD MW2.....on PS3....sad I know.

I'd guess you could ask Motorworks / Motobins for how much, have you seen this site:

If it's been fine for a year then there's no reason to suppose it won't be fine for another 10.
easy enough to buy one from motorworks or similar... but I wonder if there's any point?
To be honest if I was concerned.. I'ld simply replace it without asking on this forum. A new one is only £10 which is hardly a huge amount.

It's an electrical item - which means you've as much chance the new part going wrong as the part your currently using.
