990 Adventure service time/costs

Unless I am mistaken, the first service on a 990 Adventure is over 5 hours!!! This is at approximately 600 miles/1000 kilometres I think?

WTF do they do and just how much does this cost????

only if deal done when you order the bike, some dealers have been known to charge nearly £300.

This was a concern for me also at the time I purchaced mine,£120 as HRH says it's subsidised by KTM so if you were looking just make sure it's still available or build it into the deal.

Just re-read my paperwork, first service is writen in at 100 quid but was part of overall price at time of purchase

My 950 sm cost £250 for 1st service but got heavy discount when I bought it.But they stripped the bike and engine right down not just the usual oil change and kick the tyres jobby.I've got a cb1300 (08) and the free service took all of 3/4 hour.

Well I am thinking of going to a dealer near London to buy a demo bike with 200 miles on it and going to Wayne Mounter near me for the servicing.

That is a concern for me...well, i am scottish

Drysdales in perth are minimum £200 for every service
