This 5" device attaches to a BMW mount and runs Android 14 so can run apps natively such as MyRoute app OSMand+ Kurviger etc., (with offline maps) but can run Apple Carplay or Android Auto as well. Its the sort of thing I'd go for if I was in the market as its more flexible than a Dumb screen and way cheaper than a DMD navigation tablet.
