Just before setting off for Croatia, my 1200GS displayed signs of imminent Final Drive Failure (at just 30,000 miles FFS). Jono pulled out all the stops to ensure the bike was sorted for the journey, having earlier put it through a full service.
The bike ran like a dream, as smooth as a smooth thing, over just under 3,000 miles on a variety of roads and some fairly terrible weather (despite not having a "Rain" mode, I somehow coped
).
I travel about 60 miles to ABW and don't begrudge a yard.
It's really appreciated, especially as my timing wasn't great and Jono was just a bit busy at the time. A large tray of doughnuts will be on its way next time I am passing...
