Hi all.
I joined this forum 3 weeks ago as i was in the market for a new GS and wanted to do my homework before placing an order.
I have read loads of posts on here snd asked a few questions that received great answers.
Today i placed an order for my new GS !

Thank you all for the help and once i am a bit more used to tinkering with the GS i can hopefully help others out in return.

And, OP, most people on here have owned GS’s, and just enjoy winding people up, so don’t take it too seriously.

Is 3 weeks like a 'running in' period, where his piss-boiling is limited to 6000 rpm.

Good stuff, I have my current 1200LC TE since 2015 I had a 1200 for 11 years before that and an 1150 for 4 before that, the GS flatters you, they make you a better rider than you are and while they may not be infallible I haven't had anything go wrong on any of my bikes admittedly I do my own maintenance for pleasure and I am a fussy fecker. I'm sure you will have a great time with your GS, enjoy.
