A bit dry in the Dales just now..

Next to no water in one of the rivers up near Settle just recently. Surprised how low Scar House reservoir was too.

I was trail riding yesterday around Nidderdale and had expected it to be a bit soggy considering the rain we’ve had on the west coast. It was a big surprised to see how dry/dusty the lanes were and I ended up in A&E last night due to having some grit in my eye. I now look like a GS until the swelling goes down…

Yeah we were surprised by how dry it was. Plenty of grit and flies about although we managed to avoid A&E
