A bit hesitant

Went out today and when I opened it up in third fourth it was hesitant it got there anyone had this 1150 gs it's got a cat and stubby

Sounds exactly like the symptoms of knackered coil sticks. Crack the throttle hard at higher revs and it hesitates for a split second and then goes.

Hot or cold engine, or made no difference ?

It's a2003 twin spark high mileage 100k + been regularly serviced hot engine it does pop and bang when I de throttle a bit more than my other one did just had it balanced
