A bit more airhead off roading

Ok, an airhead 'bimble' is in the planning stage.

We could base ourselves at my place as there's also a 4 berth caravan here to use and Tina can drive us to the pub

I'll sort the route so if anyone wants to skip the harder bits an alternative can be used. But most of it is OK :thumb

Yes of course.

I have already been asked by one non airhead rider if he can attend on his ADV, since he is much, much more than capable
I reckon we can let him in (don't worry it's not Wizard :D )

Garry, I aplogise for the thread hijack :o but presume you may also be interested. Your photos were an inspiation :)

Any chance of me joining then? Please, please, please

I used to have airheads. :rob

And like Simon says - The Harder the Better!

Love those 800...

;) ...one of the nicest running BMs I ever owned was an old R80. I have never Heard any engine 'Tick-over' as SWEET! :bow I had a Rally Mate down here- Shep? He has owned a GS80 from new. I miss his Bike? (Yeah Shep too)! Your Wales shots are very similar to Tasmania (home). We are very different than most of the Australia mainland. I will have to find out how to "Post Shots"? I saw a note somewhere? Always being a bit stand offish type. Yet always out camping ( we say Rallying) on my GS ... sounds like a Bloody GSer?
anyway thankyou I really enjoyed your shots. That lunch spot was Tops!
BIGJim Tasmania. Waitng on new Pistons and Barrels ( GS 11 / Broken rings= NO Air Cap right barrel) Blar..blar bugger! :beerjug:

Ok hows about 23rd/24th Sept?

We could meet here on Friday, parhaps have a play around then Pub etc.
or for those that can't make it then they could arrive early saturday, say 9.00am

Stop at my place in either spare bedrooms, floor, I could stick a largeish tent up, chicken shed, barns or for the lucky a posh caravan.
Breakfast here or a cafe down the road.

I'll get a 'full on' route together for Saturday leaving at around 10.00am,
Back to my place for shower and a cuppa etc

Saturday evening for socialising

And if anyone still wants more we could do another route on Sunday

Perhaps we should wait until we know how many airheads are likely to come before inviting the 'Riff Raff' or even the Orange :D :nenau

But I think we should be agreed "NO POGOS" :P
