A bit of a tune up

Took the bike over to John Warringtons in Malton to try and iron out a flat spot, it's still there unfortunately....











Then took in a couple of green lanes on the way home

I did that one as well I like that little lane as its too small for the 4x4 boys so no ruts. The open face helmet is a bit of an issue with the over hanging branches!

That's some dip in the mixture at 3k. Your main jet is too big as well. I had to come right down to 142 on my gs to get it right at the top end.

Hello Rob, yep 3k is about where the problem is, I was chatting with Richard at moorespeed and he has suggested I bring it over and he will meet me at his dyno guy's place with some needles and jets.....he said an hour and it will be running mint.

Don't worry, I will ring and make an appointment. I'm in no rush, the bike is still very rideable and I'm enjoying it immensely, in fact it's the one I ride all the time. My GSALC hasn't been used in the last 6 months!
Ive been looking at fitting the 45lt sauer fuel tank and getting Mikeyboy to custom make some luggage frames ready for a bit of European touring next year.

Didnt know there was a choice of needles, apart from the different fixing method - anybody have details of what is available and an idea of the differences between them?
Or has Richie sourced something no one else has ?

It's a siebenrock SG2 direct from them, sounds great, comes with a removable baffle .........which has been removed
