Been riding for only 4 months and my first little taste of what I guess you can call, "off-roading" ... found this byway in Essex and enjoyed it very much, can't wait for next weekend !

Near Good Easter just off FarmBridge End Road and roughly about 2miles ... not very long:

Looks like one of the byways just East of Newport, open, fast and quite long for a byway. There are few easy Byways around that area

Wreford Miles, a few friends of mine live in Finchley, not too far from St Albans, so I end up riding around Hertfordshire / St Albans area most weekends, any suggestions of some nice "off-road" trials closeby ?

buy an OS map this will show all byways in the area you want. me and mate went on our first off road byway experience this weekend and it was great fun. we tried to connect the byways up which worked out quite well, although one was very challenging " have bruises to prove it, BLOODY TRACTOR TRACKS"

Added you all to my buddy list, I'm going to buy the OS Explorer map 183 (Chelmsford & The Rodings), find some cool green lanes, byways, etc ... than we do it !

This weekend (saturday) I am picking up a friend in N12 and then plan to ride the google route (avoiding motorways) to Brightlingsea / Clacton-on-Sea, just for the day. Looks like it's nice weather on Saturday ..

nice Cafe at the end of the prom in Brightlingsea, it does get busy but worth a visit, if I am around I may be down there so will look out for the GS.
