was thinking of the aul railway track
in Donegal we tried to do many moons ago
cant find the foto's ... but there is a cracker
of sugercube and his wee mucker on it...
So tell me anybody up for it ???

Spot on Jockser. I slog up that track in summer on foot to fish Lough Agher and Lough naBoll and I get bogged down in July Wouldn't fancy it on a bike at this time of year. The track bed is still there in places but in others it's just deep bog. As Errol found out

Off to Achill for the weekend.. Will have to do a return visit to Minuan sans bike (She's thinking romantic valentines weekend....I'm thinking Battle of the Bands, Annexe Inn, Keel)

Ya see, Padge and myself found this hill which could be climbed by a XChallenge with a bit of effort and a mouthful of ditch, the real challenge would be to get a GS up it.

Well.......I did say foolhardy.

The "Devil's Bit" near Templemore has been in the back of my mind since R2D2 mentioned it... I might go for a wander next weekend and have a look.
