Would prefer to take the 525. Jono is working his magic on it at the moment. Be up for some rough camping. I'll bring a rifle. :augie

having own two 525 ..it fffff hard work on your back side,,,because the route i have in mind for us takes in alot of road work some times between areas..

so take the biker one ...going to be gental lanes honest... too easy for the 525..

Be fine mate, I rode that 525 for 9 hours straight when I bought it. Lots of motorway work for hours at a time, just the odd 10 min stop to refuel.

I just can't get any camping gear packed onto the 690R safely, if at all. (I did try it last Sunday packing kit to it and it all went horribly wrong mid-journey :blast:augie:blast). Fecking oops isn't the word:eek:

No would struggle on that, too.

690 is earmarked for other things next year. Won't be using that. 1200GSA, I'm in the same camp as Tarry on that score, too nice to bugger up :D

ok ..i'll consider which lanes not to do with bikes like yours.. then again i'll not be doing hard lanes any way:D.... it been a while since i road so you might see me on my back side on a easyer crossing than that:thumb2
