Speedfour and myself met up for a few hours riding on the plane and it started off with pouring rain all the way there and me going to the wrong place to rendezvous. With that sorted and me leaving the bakery at SP10 we got on with some riding.
I loved the signs in the bakery shop window.

The rain got me worried as I only have Tourance tyres on and haven't ridden off road for a couple of years.

Both of the bikes at the start and they certainly didn't stay clean for long although the overall condition on the plain is dry.

The first and only off for the day was won by James (speedfour) but to be fair he was going for it and the pond like wallow just spat him off.
I'm too much of a gentleman to have stood over him and photo'd but I did take one after the bike was squared away. The bike was at one point on its side in the muddy wallow behind.

I thoroughly enjoyed the jaunt out but think I need different tyres at the next change. GS's would definitely struggle in the winter with a lot of standing water but at this time of year it was a joy to be out there.

Good to see you getting out on the Plain - it's a fantastic playground :thumb2

Was a good day out always good to get onto the plain, and am looking forward to the 26th, will try to stay on the bike all day this time lol.

Didn't really have any route was just seeing what was open (red flags) and what was ok for doing on tourances, but did go over most bits off the plain, can do a route if your after one?
