it was a shake down trip for a much longer one that i'm planning this summer, so hence a little more gear than necessary. it turns out that it was worth bringing it as david got cold during the night and had to borrow some of my spare clothes!!
actually, i don't really like the panniers and wouldn't buy them if i had to do it again. softies are more my cup of tea. yup, lost the rev'it kit, as it was as waterproof as a teabag.

think you're right about the panniers....imagine the damage you'd have caused that bus up that mountain.....you'd have totalled it
Aye....everything's good over in North Yorks. Have an open invite up on the board for Crete.....but in September. Bloody ages away. Mates getting married there so decided to ride down. 3 - 4 week trip. That's all I'll be
doing in '10. Maybe back up to the North Cape again next summer....but up through the Baltic States to Finland and up....then down through Norway.
If any of you guys want to come along, I'll keep you posted.
