My valentine's present from my girlfriend was money to go and do an offroad course, as I wanted to learn more about it having just done a single into to offroad day with i2i a couple of years ago.

Timolgra was kind enough to sort me out with a couple of days trail riding with him in North Wales, put me up and Angie lent me her bike. Huge amounts of fun was had and I'm now saving (or at least I will be when I have a job again) for a little trail bike to do more of this.

I have a recently acquired GoPro camera which I stuck on to my helmet for the duration and have just finished my first go at editing up the video. I've never done this before so it's a bit rough but I hope you'll enjoy it as it makes me grin each time I watch it.

Thanks to Tim and Angie for a great couple of days.

Nice :clap especially for a first go (riding and video editing :D)

Reminds me just how much I hate ruts :forry

Comments:
I'm not sure about the music? What is it btw?
Overall a bit long - could've maybe been split into 2 3min vids?

:thumb :clap :clap :clap
Sadly can't do off road now.
But remember falling off many times :blast :D

Thanks for that, I did wonder about splitting it.

Music is Deadmau5 - I remember. One of the few tracks long enough to span the edit. Didn't really have time to work on multiple tracks etc. Will bear in mind for my next go.

Nice vid and looks like a cracking couple of days. If you do get round to looking for a trail bike I've a low mileage 2004 TTR250, just like Ange's, which is a bit small for me. I'm not desperate to sell but if someone comes alomg with about £1500..................:thumb2:thumb2

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed that and reminded me I must give it a go. Shows you do not need/want a big bike either.

Good fun to watch that. Did the second day have less falls or was your editing getting better?

Absolutely correct.

.......and a TRF membership, you could be riding those lanes in no time at all.
Every lane on that video has had work done by North Wales TRF, helping to keep the trails open for all to enjoy.:thumb2

You're right there mate, a little taster like that and I reckon a new TRF member:thumb

Great editing J, your riding really came on well in the 2 days:clap:clap

I really enjoyed that :)

......and, to say you've not off roaded before I'm impressed with how well you did, some of the really muddy ruts towards the end looked really grim (I hate soft, muddy ruts like that!!) :clap

Enjoyed that, good vid! The riding looked good fun, agree with others - impressed with your riding full-stop, never mind after two days :clap :D

Lanes looked good too, much better than the lanes round here (I hate muddy ruts too, but the only way I'm going to get better at them is to ride more.... :D )

:beerjug:

Well done that man ,methinks you had a good tutor and guide. Some of those lanes look excellent. Ancient holloways. Very Nice.:thumb2

Fantastic, loved it, well done you that was fab! :clap

Can I borrow a link to that video and pop it in the newbie section? It'll go down well in there.
