a few days in Morocco

I have decided to break up the winter a little bit and spend a few days riding in Morocco in early January 2013.
I am flying in to Marrakech on the 3rd and flying out of Marrakech on the 9th January.(Ryanair, Ireland,Madrid,Marrakech)

I have made a few enquiries with different companies renting bikes and have gotten some prices.

This is my sixth trip to Morocco and second time renting a bike.
I will be heading south from Marrakesh to Ouzzazzate, the gorges, er richidia, merzouga, zagora etc. and back (forgive the spelling). nothing too demanding.

I am happy enough travelling solo but if someone wanted to hook up, send me a pm.

WE ARE GOING IN JANUARY LEAVING WALES ON 5TH FERRY TO SPAIN RIDE DOWN THROUGH SPAIN PROBABLY WONT GET TO MOROC UNTIL 10TH/11TH ANY INFO WOULD BE GOOD AS THIS IS FIRST TRIP

Nice pics to get me in the mood.

I'm leaving on 17Jan (next Thursday—hope the snow is over by then) on what was going to be the Portsmouth-Santander boat and is now going to be Portsmouth-Roscoff-Bilbao with two nights on board. The middle of Spain will be cold with overnight temperatures below freezing. Then six weeks or so bumming around Morocco.

This time I'm taking the F650GS twin as I am truly fed up with changing tubed tyres when getting punctures—the rim of the Tenere is particularly difficult.
