A few Pic's France and Spain

So off to our next camping location Avin, this will be our final base in Spain before we catch the ferry back to France.......


We met-up with John (aka Jaws100) and his lovely lady Aileen.

In fact it was john that persuaded us to go to Spain as our original plan was to tour around France for three weeks, thanks John we had a ball

Back in France and have two days before the ferry home. No more camping for us so we spoil ourselves and spend our last two nights in hotels.

Headed off to see St Mont Michel, I'd been there about 20 years ago and wasn't that impressed with how commercial it was and I could only imagine that it was now even worse. Anyway,when we pulled up we were informed that we could not ride the bikes up the the attraction and we would have to park them and walk, well feck that, I'm not walking that far in all this gear.

Geraldine had spotted a sign for a German cemetery so off we went.

It's hard to describe the effect that all the different memorials had on me but the one that had the most was the German cemetery mainly because of some of these..........

thanks for the pm, that was a right bummer having to ride all the way home, we met a lot's of bikers who were due to travel home with Brittany Ferries only to receive text messages or emails telling them to make alternative arrangements.
