A good Airhead service garage in London?

Dear All,
I am a newby to the forum and to airheads!..Im looking for a good reliable service garage for my R80 GS in the london area , I live in wimbledon but can't find a garage ?
...I had a few issues with it recently and got my timing chain changed, new diode and battery, and carb build up...and got a bill of near £800...that's one hefty bill...but I feel the bike still makes a load of racket from the blocks, it just doeasnt feel right!..
Any help would be greatly apprciated!

ps if any of you airheads near by are going out for a spin let me know!
 
Also try Rex at Victory Motorcycles in under the arches in Camden

He does all old bikes, but in practice is mostly dealing with airheads.
 
Dear all thanks for the heads up!
I will pop by the gsshop and enquire! I am just getting picky the blocks are rattling a bit when they get hot and I just want someone who knows what they are talking about to check and need be repair!

by the is the mechanic at "gsshop" and "steptoe" the same ?

Yes the very same, and whilst I haven't used Neil's services I know that he comes very highly recommended and if you search the forum you will see lots of mentions. Call him and enquire. OH and I think he is in SW5 or thereabouts so nice and handy for you.

Yes, can also be called Neil too - he doesn't bite, there's no coffee machine, no sofas for waiting and no valet service.

Just a cheeky, chirpy chappy who can appear grumpy (or sometimes IS grumpy) who will deliver a brilliant service for a very agreeable price.
