Carrantuohill.jpg
, only with snow.
Keep taking whatever you've been taking these years, as I've been housebound with a stinker of a cold since Monday.
I think I'm on the 4th or 5th box of tissues and the snot and phlegm are only now starting to dry up.
Happy New Year - bah, humbug.

I had that cold this last 2 days but a day in the snow appears to have it sorted.
Bumhugs to you also and may 2010 bring you many blessings.

Correct; one of the great mountaineering walking trips in Kerry (the real climbers look for more svere tests). When it is snow and ice bound it is s good test for me. I could see the Galtees & Knockealdowns snow capped off to the east - a really clear day.

It is a fabulous walk and you sure got a smashing day for it.
Will try and get back down there again in the next few months.
