You need to remove those two bolts to access the adjustment bolt.

Ahh ok, i haven’t adjusted mine anyway so still as they were when purchased.

Checked my set today, and now my set has developed a crack.

Emailed Gilles but no reply as of yet as it’s Sunday, sent pictures to my dealer also. If they replace them I will sell the replacement set straight away. That’s two people with three sets that have failed. These were all bought at a similar time from the same dealer, may be a bad batch but the seed is set in my head now. I had two sets of pivot pegs with no issue but the fit on the LCGS limits access to the side stand so I tried these. Not sure what to do now to be honest, waiting to here back from the other company.

My advice to those who have them is to check them regularly.

Cleaning mine yesterday and found a crack in my right hand side one. They are less than a year old, so have emailed the supplying dealer.

Mine were torqued up to the correct 20nm, with Loctite 243 applied to the threads as per fitting instructions.

I would encourage anyone with these fitted to check them closely. The last thing you would want, is one to fail whilst riding.

I had concern's about the ones i bought developing cracks (im a bloody heavy unit lol ) so i replaced them with the HP pegs that are much beefier than the ones id originally fitted. As can just about be seen here. Twice as thich as the other ones where the bolts fit through.

I had the HP ones sent to me by Gilles but by then I had lost faith in them and just wanted something that was indestructible for the abuse my bike gets. They are definitely beefier but you can keep your bling as far as I’m concerned.

Do they not chew up your boots?

Surprisingly not, they do a sharp version which I imagine would, but I’ll take a bit of boot wear against slipping off a peg every time.

I have the bronze ones, originally fitted to my 2015 and now swopped over to my new GSA HP.
Have there been many failures ? Quite worrying the consequences of this happening whilst riding
