Bryan was suggesting we get together .... during TT .... so what would folk like to do? It's been bloody ages since the Manx contingency had a bevvie together ... and homeschooling et al meant I was not very organised about social events this year ..... so how about we get some suggestions for suitable dates and places .... if folk would like?

Not doing a BBQ this year as the new kitchen is going in the week before Practice week ... and with possible delays I dare not plan something ... just incase .... so we could do a meal? or just a bevvie ... whichever folk like.

I am happy to book stuff ... or shall we make it just a free and easy meet?

Over to you :)

ps I would imagine there will be a meet for the BMW lot at the Creek ... Chris'll know ....

Assuming exiled Manxmen allowed, I'll try and come along whatever the plan might be.

Been talking to Bry (manxpanzer) keep meeting him at the airport :) and we thought about sorting out meeting on Tues of race week .. in the eve .... around 7.30pm? at The Creek?

how would that suit folk? Not sure if anything else big planned for the night .. others might know ... but if that suits all ... shall we make it then?

Bry says he can reserve a table if he has a rough idea of numbers .. so let us know.

I'll try to make any midweek meet but a lot will depend on my workload during race week.

The BMW lot are having a meet at the Raven (guess who's idea that was) on Mad Sunday from lunchtime. Food will be available along with the normal deranged sense of humour :augie

BTW...TT3D is on at the Broadway Piccys...three of us went last night...no spoiler...well worth the £8 :thumb

sounds good Chris.

We're all off to see the TT3D on Saturday next ... heard it's rather good so looking forward to it :-) Rob coming too ... esp with Guy Martin in it. He's a real fan of Guy (as are we - I should add). Is it on at Broadway too? I thought it was just on at the Villa ... I'll let my mate know as he was told that there were no more showings (ie all booked up) but that was at the Villa Cinema. Cool :thumb

see you lot soon. Hugs xx

ps you'll have to sympathise with Dermot, Chris ... kitchen being done in ours now :-) floor coming up tomorrow .....eeeeek:eek:

We all got tickets for Easter monday...its a cracking piece of film...Guy was his...errr...usual self...get ready with some answers for Rob when he asks what a w**k is...helps Guy relax so he says...maybe thats why he crashed at Ballascarey...his eyesight let him down :augie

Sounds good, count me in, please.

I saw TT3D at the Broadway cinema on Monday night whilst I was on The Island for Easter, well worth seeing. First time I'd seen footage of Conor's off - it's amazing he got away with it so "lightly". For me, the absolute star of the show was Bridget Dobbs.

Another exile returning for the TT. Would be good to meet up with folks from on here. Count me in, but leaving on Wed so Tues eve would be fine.

Cheers

Chris

help for tt

ey up lads (or lasses) moved over here last year to live and havin a spot of trouble wiv me gs 1150 stripped threads on rear wheel (dont ask) has anyone got a tap i could use its an m12x1.5 pitch also need two bolts cheers

daft moo ... I was thinking of the Palace ..... on drugs today due to migraine so no wonder me brain wasn't working :):)

sex ed via Guy Martin eh? ah well .... could be worse :eek

looked over to Rob when the various discussions on Guy's pre-sleeping activities were being discussed ... he was laughing rather alot ... as were the entire audience.

VERY good film. Watching the whole thing brought back last year to a 'T' .... including the horrible moments and I was very glad to be on the refresher IMC course this last weekend. If any of you want to marshall ... it's the best place to do so .... and the training is pretty good. Just a thought.

By the way ... bike helmet removal is apparently a forte of mine. Who knew?? :D:D:D

oh and Dave .... I got the wrist bands through ... Rob is wearing his (orange of course .... so he loves it heehee ).

did a search and found this as I didn't want to start a new thread about TT2011

have a safe one you lot

might bump into a few of you, DeeTee I'll see you in the usual place :beerjug:

sorry moo. I'm not setting anything in stone as there is too much going on once i get to the island that my pre laid plans go out of the window.

I'd rather leave it at that than say yes for sure then not turn up at meet

I hope you understand.
