Well being on Dial up means his has taken me 8 days  to prepare so its gonna be short and sweet:

Not so much a ride report but a selection of stills taken from the Video we made on our recent trip to Morocco.

The quality of the stills refelcts the fact that they are taken from the video but you get the idea :D

The route was Cueta to Midelt, then Left into and over the Atlas Mountains then down Dades Gorge Right to Ouzazarte then Foum Zguid to Merzouga via the Desert

hope you enjoy:

I must say thanks to Garfield who i met at a Cafe just after my snorkelling adventure.

he sorted out my knee which had come out and gone back in again all of its own accord :D

Lots nd lots of Ibrufen and I was good to go

I see you gave your Ard Cases quite a battering there FB and it looks like they took it all pretty well. :eek

The stills capture it pretty good. You going to post the video?
Would love to see a fuller ride report with photos :augie :thumb

Those Ardcases are tops, to be honest par from a couple of small gouges they are unmarked and really stood up well. They hold water very well indeed as I found out after emptying about 3 litres of River out of the Left one :D

As for the bike believe it or not It remains unmarked and without a scratch :thumb How I dont quite know.

As for the Video I will have to let Pete view the video first I only finished it a few days ago.

If Pete likes it enough He can upload the Video somewhere, Being on Dial up is not the best when it comes to hosting video etc

Just noticed the sticker on your LHS Ard Case pannier - I assume that you bumped into John from Trailmasters on your trip too? Nice guy.

Nice spot David

We met through a friend in a local Pub a month before the trip for some tips and advice.

Which I didnt take for the most part :augie:blast

Will be seeing him again for a post trip drinky poos soon - any excuse;)

Having owned Both and done similar trips on them both it is clear to me that the 950 would be much nimbler and faster over any terrain.

BUT - the 950 would have struggled on a few occasions with the distance between fuel stops without carrying extra on board which would have negated the lighter bike aspect

The soft power of the 750 was very much appreciated on those high narrow pistes in the Mountains the power of the KTM might have given me a few problems.

Fantastic pictures, just can't get bored of looking at Moroccan adventures.

I was seriously dehydrated and very ill when I met him on my way home in Algeciras - he diagnosed correctly and fed me full of sugar salt and water and within a couple of hours I was sorted. Good bloke. Say hello to him for me.

Next time I see him I will be suffering from the same symptoms as you,

The difference is I can diagnose mine now before I set off :beer::augie
