A month since the wife moved to the Isle of Man I finally managed to get across there on the HP2.
In Douglas it was warm and sunny but a quick 10 minute blast up the TT circuit and it was strong winds and thick fog.

With a couple of maps loaned to me by a good lad from Adventure Bike Rider forum I set off to see what the lanes where like for myself.

Only spent a few hours on the hills but can`t wait to head back for more.

I will let the pictures say the rest. Only taken with an Iphone so not that Arty.
This Island has every type of Lane you could wish for: Some where miles long and if I hadn`t been on my own I would have been a bit braver and tackled some of the more technical ones.

There`s always next time:thumb2

I can also feel a nice little trail bike finding its way into my garage here.
About half the weight of the HP would be a good Start!

Good over there isn't it.

Friend has lived there for years, amongst various machines in his garage is a bultaco for just that sort of thing.

My neighbour of 25 years has moved back to the island, (born and bred manxman) with his new RT, he is also thinking of a trail bike and he's 70!!!!

The one you're on mate, give it some beans and fly off the end.:thumb

A nice little Katoom would be ideal.:D

Nice, I have been a few times and it is damned tough on some of them trails,i rode both a 450exc and a 250exc 2t over there. Get a small bike over there for the tougher lanes.
