a simple basic system

dont want radio, ride alone, and certainly dont want the phone whilst moving - all I want is a bluetooth connection to the sat nav. So can you recommend me a simple basic system that will receive blue tooth from a garmin satnav.

The Scala Rider Q1 is what you need. The blessing of wireless connectivity cannot be underestimated. If you don't want to connect to your phone or MP3 player then don't.

Of course only you can decide if it's worth buying a setup that could connect to others should you want to in the future

If you just want to hear Sat Nav instructions you could do a lot worse than a Scala Rider.

All smart phones have google maps, gps and turn by turn directions these days don't they. Bonus is they drop out when the phone rings and answers automatically and return on call end.
