A solo seat question for the cognoscenti

Hi folks

I want to put a solo seat on my Airhead adventure - which one fits with the HPN big tank? Frame is an 80G/S.

Certainly the seat for the G/S will fit but it all depends on which subframe you’re using. If you have a later paralever subframe I’m not sure if the ‘tongue’ on the front of the paralever seat will match the profile of the tank.

Cheers Paul, sorry should have said it’s a strengthened G/S subframe. Though it can be modified ...

Big Tank

This is on a GSPD frame, but it shows how the seats match to the tank. The orange seat is a standard g/s seat. The GSPD seat that fits has been shaped to fit. It looks like the g/s will fit to me.

Thanks Tetley - a thousand words and all that!

I’m going to get the seat built up anyway as I’m a lanky sod so can get any minor re-shaping done by the upholsterer.

Tetley, its nice when some one has a selection of options in their collection of bikes. I've looked a couple of times at the photo you put on here some time ago of all your bikes you, should setup a viewing day for us all to get envious, they are a joy to see keep collecting.
