So that was Italia 08 as I remembered it.

I like to thank all the Steves for such a great trip. Our ride captain for his military precision organisation that allowed me to ride safely and without fear of my photo taken to each destination.

On the way down to Dover and on the first day to Nancy .. I saw a bunch of bikers doing a MCI Self Guided Tour. I check out their website and found that these people paid for a tour similar to ours. I don't even think they had as good directions sheets as the ones Ride Captain did for us. So I am extremely grateful for his generosity in providing us all with such a great holiday


So this is the summary ..

2660 miles .. door to door

Fastest rider of the group at 117MPH

Spent too much time in the saddle

AND I STILL GOT THE BEST STICKER!

Venice was a funny old place ... the surrounding area was a bit industrial and run down. ]

Didn't i tell you ?? the best way to see venice for the first time is to go to the town just along the coast ( i'll have a look for the name) so you miss the industrial area, and get a boat into Venice.
