Right, I had a list of excuses as to why I want a top box for cheap, but here's the killer... I want a top box for cheap because I'm skint
Basically I always wanted a luggage set but didn't want to spend £30,000 on a basic Metal Mule setup etc etc, recently I have seen the Coocases which seem appealing, especially the gigantic 48ltr one.
But what seemed like a nice in-expensive solution turned out to require a SW Motech rack and an adapter plate for the Coocase itself, all tallied up this isn't mega expensive, but I wanted to know other options.
So here's the question / discussion, for the F800GS, is there a cheap way to slap a top box on the back? I'm not looking for insane levels of quality, so long as the thing handles a lid or two, a large DSLR rucksack etc without falling to bits.
As an aside the Coocase 48ltr box uses a large plate than it's three siblings, which is a shame because I was contemplating purchasing a smaller on in the future, just for everyday use (commuting etc).
Cheers guys + girls!
