Ok ,
Kick me off the site if you want , as this is not a GS , but my 1200RT , affectonately known as The Panzer ........... [ or as " that pile of tin " as SWMBO labels it ]
Yesterday I went for a bimble around the local area ............

Ah - Shilton Ford. You were about ten minutes away from me in Bampton - should have dropped in for a cuppa. Don't leave that bike outside though - neighbours will think I've won the lottery... :D

Didn't take it through the ford then?

Bampton eh ?

I'm about 10 mins from Shilton , heading across the A40 .

I didn't have the guts to ride through the ford ...2 ft deep , that would be up to my waist :D :D .
One thing I did learn though ............. I parked on that little path , having just filled the bike up with fuel ........after taking the photos , I decided to roll the bike back down rather than go forward ..soon realised that a fuel laden bike , plus moss covered path leading downhill backwards , being "controlled" by a short arse , is a recipe for disaster :D :D :D .......... not a lot of room to stand by the side of the bike as I reversed back .

Thought I was going to have an Ian McShane Battle of Britain moment !!

You out and about this am ?

Steve

That sounds distinctly scary! Having wrestled a K1200RS in the same circumstances, I know what you mean.

Sadly, as the tag says, in the office again (and wasting too much time on here, same as usual :D) trying to get a start on next week... Just looking out the window and thinking I should be out there on the bike!

Torture ...........
I'm always up and about early , many a time I've had a nice bike ride before most folk have got out of bed .
Today I'll be taking my son to play football at 1.00 pm , but am twiddling my thumbs til then .
We have a frost here , slowly being melted by that tempting sun.........
