Went out for a bit of a run today - couple of hundred miles, and yes it was a bit cold Ronno! - even raining at times, but after 12-hour nightshifts at the weekend you just got ta get oot? - just in case the winter really is as bad as they say it will be!!
Added a couple photo's - any ideas where? it's up in the forest (obvious I hear you say!!) well above the well-known river and road alongside it? - We seem to like guessing games just now!

Cheers ...................Grizzly

Gave me a wee lift that did Grizzly, its those autumn colours

Can't help re location though, but it reminds a wee bit of a forest I once new near Beinn A' Bheithir. That would be near Ballachulish in GSer speak ;)

OK I'm goin I've got me coat on :(

Bit Off The Mark Alte!

Just messin' here Alte! - not enough scenery to help anyone? - just thought I'd mess about seeing as we're doing a lot of quizes here just now!
There both taken up in Inver forest - about 5 miles east of Braemar - that's the Dee below. In non GS-er speak Alte, if you look closely at the image taken from behind the bike you can just make out the snow-covered peak of Lochnaggar?
Hope there's some good weather left yet!!

Cheers...............Grizzly

Yip, lets hope so ... should have put me specs on :( :D

Looked like a good day out.
Im glad the cuald weathers here, cant wait to get put on empty roads :D

Your Right!

Yep Stef,
Noticed a difference today, a cold showery Tuesday in November - hardy passed any vehicles in either direction between Bridge of Cally and around Ballater - mind you, once the worst weather arrives I won't be there either!
It was a nice day though - very peaceful, especially in the woods

Here's another autumn image from the woods..Cheers.......Grizzly

Hi Grizzly,

I could be wrong but that looks mighty like a forest near Lochnagar in the Braemar area... :)
Ronno

P.S. I've been practicing for these "Whaur's this" type quizes.
