Very short notice I know but,

A few of us are heading out tomorrow to meet up with the Jockser for a wee spin and a drop of tae. :) :moped:

We plan to meet the desert adventurer in Carrickmacross at 11.15/11.30 then head off.

Weather forecast calls for a cool day with a few showers, so that's OK then.

So far Sugarcube, DaveG and myself are going. Anyone else? :nenau

Again, sorry for the short notice, but we just decided on this today.

Aidan

Depending on hi I'm feeling in the morning (can't do my usual Saturday binge drinking with the anti-biotics :D ) I'd be up for a run.

Where in Carrickmacross and how will I recognise you lot? :D

We are meeting at my gaff in Loughbrickland at 9.30 in the morning. A quick mug of tae/coffee then away.

We will be meeting Jockser on the main street in CMX, just look for a group of ugly GSers on a mix of 1200s and vastly superior 1150s. :D :dabone :D

You will be most welcome. :thumb

Well, youse should have turned up, lads.

It was a small gathering - Aidan, DaveG & myself on the motos. We met Dibbles outside his 'office' & he bought us a cuppa - thanks for that. ColmCummins turned up to see a jacket Dave had for sale. It was too small - him being full GSer size :D but he then bought a top box off Dibbles ;)

The god of GSing was obviously smiling on us. After the very wet & windy Saturday afternoon I had my doubts about a dry spin but there wasn't a drop of rain all day & the roads even dried out in the afternoon :thumb Temperature hovered between 9 & 13 degrees, so mild enough.

After the tea & a chat in Carrick the three of us headed to Shercock, Bailieborough, Virginia, Kells & on to Drogheda for more tea :D

From there the 2 boys headed north & I set off cross country to home. Got back about half five & even washed the muck off the bike :D

Having missed getting out for the last 2 Sundays it was good to have a blast. I now know how you guys without bikes while awaiting delivery of your new ones feel while 'confined to barracks' :(

Roll on Donegal - just eleven days to go :bounce1 :bounce1 :bounce1
