A week in the Picos?

There is much, much more to see than what people regard as being 'the Picos'.........................much more.

Totally agree, i've been running around the area on different tours for a number of years now.

Will be there again this year as well :thumb2

Me to, leaving from Plymouth on 22nd of May staying in Potes then moving on, not sure where to it will depend on the weather, we have around 5 weeks away and will be coming back via Calais.

hello does anyone know where that tunnel is on the video for the tour about 2 mins in? I would ask them but I'm too tight to pay for the tour.

cheers
It's La Cuevona - between Cangas de Onis and Ribadasella

ETA: it's here: 43.434178, -5.072382

Thanks it's going on the list I have a week end of April/May down there and can't make my mind up which routes to take!

If it's riding rather than hiking you want, don't limit yourself to just the Picos. I've booked a group of us onto a ferry to Santander July '16 so I've been busy planning. The mountains the Picos are part of stretch much further west, and include more national parks, so plenty of riding and good views for a week. We're doing 5 days and ending up in the Pyrenees then riding home from there.

Hi Donnie

I have a similar plan for September, may I ask, which route home from the Pyrenees are you planning? I was considering milau and the tarn gorge.

Thanks
