All booked in at the Strathardle Inn and having a few pints. It appears that I'm going to have the pleasure of Gerry Watts company later.

Just need to find a weekend that suits everyone for a piss up somewhere, even if not Tobermory. Could go back to Black loonies but somewhere else would be fine as well 
A proper weekend do instead of an overnighter might prove fatal at the Loonies.

I'd still go for Tobermory, having never been but the nights are fair drawing in for sleeping in tents. It'll soon be winter

Went there off season once......it was shut.
What about Oban?
Could stand a weekend there...
Plenty pubs, good grub, distillery tour....
Could get cheap hotel / B&B. (campsite is a hike).

I can ask about getting dates for Tayvol House on Mull, big house several miles down a good dirt track. Can probably get it dinner B&B
