..... would have got nowhere:D

They've made one access to the Wayfarer's trail much easier at the start so thought I'd try and ride right over it this afternoon.

Looking good so far and not a soul in sight.

Now it's not looking good and I have to climb much higher.

I don't have to walk far before realising this isn't doable on the GS and I don't want to illegally stray from the track:blast

Need to retrace and see if I can get on the tops another way, stopping by a small waterfall along the way.

I'll try this way

It doesn't look it but still quite a fiddle to get along this way

And that's about it, short and sweet:beerjug:

Haha, so that's how ya do it. When I did the STD recce ride on my own in the snow I got stuck really badly in the snow near the Goyt valley. It didn't occur to me to get of the bike to have a look :blast:D:D

Nice pics Tim. Have they still got that wooden section on the wayfarers? feckin scary on the big bike when it's cold and wet!

Yep, I would definitely have been stuck, the snow was lying quite deep where it had drifted into the track and yes the wooden sleepers are there ...... nice and steady it's ok in the wet on a big bike, still scary by yourself though:D

Is the bit of blue rag on the handlebar there, so you know which side of the road to drive on when you leave Bangor ... :nenau

Nice pics Tim....I'd love to take the little orange one along there for a blast....:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap

Shut the fuck up Andres ......

:D

Brave man Tim . . .even with your skills!:bow

You're too kind Richard, I'm not 'that' skilled and I guess it slipped my mind to mention how I was reminded how easy it is to pick a GS up :augie

And Giles, that was the funniest post I've seen for ages .... nice one Andres :D

It's still a chuffing long way from anywhere up there if you drop it! :D
I was on standby for search and rescue operations, just in case. We know Ange doesn't like her dinner to be delayed. :green gri

Ange was away with work last night so you needn't have become concerned until today :D
