. . . with a few GSs on the road, Bridge of Cally and Beyond
. . . as I got out for the first time this year :)
. . . with my lad running in his new S1000RR
. . . with blue skies, rain, wind, cold
. . . and the wind
. . . and us getting separated when he shot off from burger van and GS wouldn't start with effin' EWS problem
. . . then it started and I caught up :)
. . . then he stopped near Crathie after being "shot" by a stone flung up from my wheel :(
. . . and I lost him in my mirror
. . . and thought he'd maybe dropped it :eek
. . . so I stopped + did a 3 point turn
. . . and dropped the fokkin' GS for the first time in the middle of the A93
. . . then we got going again
. . . did I mention the wind
. . . some blue sky in Glen Shee :)
. . . so much lethal grit on the road
. . . much needed pit stop in Tomintoul + EWS error so slow to start
. . . then fuel + rain in Grantown + fokkin' EWS error and wouldn't start again for a while
. . . then a shot on the S1000RR after Aviemore down A9 - interesting :thumb
. . . even with 9000 RPM limit
. . . but it was friggin' cold
. . . so gimme my GS back with heated grips
. . . so home again jiggety-jig - 301 miles :jager :jager
. . . and must wash bike tomorrow
. . . and must change out that fokkin' EWS module
. . . and must get the fuelling set up right
. . . and did I mention the wind?

Sounds like you had a good ride out, apart from the EWS thingy.....

Was it very windy up there?

Two smart bikes, what screen have you got on the GS?
We need a few days of rain to clean the roads up a bit, only thing ,once it starts it will forget to stop.

. . . what screen have you got on the GS?

The screen is from NN. It's a little taller than standard screen and suits me fine. I'm 5'8", use ear plugs and have no real problems with noise or buffeting.

Did I mention it was windy yesterday? And I'm feeling pretty stiff.

And now I have a bike to clean. My lad has already given his the full valet treatment and was almost crying at the amount of shot blasting on his front mudguard and fairing.

I saw you coming up Glenshee :thumb2 Was making my way down to the Naefannies doo.

It was windy today too :D

Tell us mair aboot this fudless pigeon :) Was she a long term personal friend or just a flighty encounter you happened to take a shot at?

't is all a bit hazy :augie Blacklunnans bunkhouse, 16 Tossers and a vast quantity of Jaegermeister and other assorted beverages. The less said the better:D

See the evil drink thread :D :jager for reference.....

Looking at Saturdays P&J it seems that the A93 is getting targetted with mobile speed cameras all this week with siteeither side of Banchory, Kincardine O'neil, Aboyne, Dinnet, Crathie etc.... Obviously all our pot hole fund has gone to buy more cameras:(
