Abandoned airhead in Italy , anyone's ?

I had to laugh when I saw this on another forum :D ....

Abandoned airhead in Italy , anyone's ?

After posting on a UK forum I think I certainly won't be posting the reg plate anywhere, since unfortunately I realised that I was giving some rather criminally minded airhead enthusiasts grounds to commit a potential crime down here. Unfortunately I don't want to repeat that mistake. I've also removed pictures of the bike.

Thanks everyone for your advice, you really bring back my faith in the international biker community. I have to say that after my experience with the British forum that I won't mention

I just read that forum. I fully understand your feelings. Its one reason I no longer own a BMW and rarely post there. Trust me, they are not representative of UK bikers

If it is the one I am thinking of then this I fully understand; I met and talked with some followers of a well known brand of forum for UK BMW riders and a more conceited bunch of cliqueish people would be hard to find anywhere else

OK, at the risk of having my head bitten off. What has happened to the bike ?. or is that irrelevant now ?.:augie

Yes and when you have a quick look back through this thread you can see who and why they came to make that conclusion:thumb

FWIW I think this is a brilliant thread and if it keeps all the anoraks on HUBB, where they can discuss how to prepare squashed hedgehog roadkill and onions over candle in your tent beside the road, so much the better :thumb
