Jeremy Clarkson names 'beautiful' Welsh town with 'best hotel in the world'

Clarkson's Farm presenter Jeremy Clarkson was full of praise after spending a few days in a coastal town in West Wales, branding the hotel he stayed in 'the best in the world'

It gets busy enough in Aberaeron without a load of Clarkson worshippers visiting for a selfie outside the Harbourmaster Hotel.

oh well, the New Celtic chip shop was shit on my last visit so I will just go elsewhere. Could be a good earner for the camera vans though as Jack and Jessica race along the A44 in their pimped Hyundai i10

We sheltered in the Hive, the last time we visited - drowned rats, we left a trail of water behind us, then stripped off all our wet biking gear & overstayed our welcome as it was still hissing down outside. The folk we charming.

The TV crowd have infested the Harbourmaster for years now, so the prices have risen accordingly.

Spent a bit of time down there in my younger days, stayed a couple of miles away on my then girlfriend's family farm. Haven't been for probably 30 years now. The Hive on the Quay always seemed busy, and the harbour area nice. I've toyed with taking the GS for a 'day out' to there.... who knows.... still might...

Well I wouldn’t have done since I didn’t know it existed but since Wessie so kindly shared details it seems rude not to.

Seems just the sort of place for a a Porsche club do. We can make a weekend of it and take in the local roads too- any recommendations?
