Aberystwyth Promenade parking charge for bikes.

Hi.
Anyone called in to the Prominade bike parking area in Aberystwyth recently?
I have seen articles that suggested the council has now started charging to park there.
Any info on this please.

And? just pay it, premium parking

remove the signs they put them up.
lean them against the wall , so they cannot be read .
do not damage them , do not steal anything from them.
bin bag over the machine if there is one .
remove all signage about charges .

Glad I went up there many years ago. It sounds like a place to miss now. Shame really as it was a decent walk. Hopefully the Dales will never become that popular. My favourite hill is Pen y Ghent and I would like to continue to be the only person up there sometimes. First hill I camped on many many years ago. Probably around 1973ish. Blacks mountain tent and blacks Icelandic special sleeping bag. Using a Primus stove to cook on and RAF pans.
