88 rt mono frame and a gearbox plus a few more useful bits

Bought these 1000cc pistons off the evilbay for a few quid,
It would appear that they are early RS ones.

I rebuild Toyota Landcruiser Transfer Boxes for Club members . . .

Sometimes when I open them up they are clean inside:

Other times they have been 'Off-Roaded' and are full of mud .

Its a relief to get a clean one .

That's strange, as it was bead blasted first
Fuck me I must have wasted £10k on equipment,
I should have asked for guidance on here first






FYI,
Aquablasting cleans and seals the surface,leaving a soft sheen that is not powdery and Absorbent like dry blast,so it's far easier to clean and will resist corrosion for longer,
However it will not remove paint deposits or excess corrosion so a dry blast unit is also needed

Probably uses a piece of almost straight string to check everything is true I'm there Wednesday so I'll run an eye over it for a second opinion !
