Morning all, just wondering if anyone is heading over for the ABR festival this year?

I haven't been to it before but having heard good reports decided to give it a try this year.

Fingers crossed that the weather will be good🤞

Yep. First time for the Mrs & I. Going early Friday morning to be there for gates opening.

Hi All, ive just bit the bullet and brought tickets for Friday, saturday and sunday. missed out on some tickets for sale with the trail pass but ah well plenty of ride outs by the looks of it. Im going solo as my pals are all working, busy or riding their fireblades haha. so if any others are flying solo an want to form a band of inbetweeners when there then im game enough for company (y)

Yep, I went last year and enjoyed every minute. Will be there about lunchtime Thursday.

Looks good most reviews seemed pretty positive, some said it was a bit rammed but what festival isnt. Did you find camping had plenty of spaces?

It's a spectacle and well worth experiencing.

I'm going but tend to go as a day visitor and do a couple of laps of both trails, then have a mooch around the festival and stalls. I might take a tent this year, but I'll make a decision on the day.

There are usually a few closures of the trails whilst they deal with injuries and extracting them from the trail, but there is nothing too technical on terms of riding (I'm ignoring the 'bog of doom' on the TRF trail as its just a very deep muddy puddle).

Ill be up for a ride out saturday see what ride outs are on, i like bike events but i also like rideing the bike as much as i can. They have some greenlaning routes too ive never done it before, i have to be a bit sensible as i have a replaced right hip, my bike old r1100gs probably now as nimble as the smaller trail bikes haha

We're going down Friday early morning pal.

Myself and SWMBO are hoping to get there Friday morning for our first abr, could be in a van with bikes and airbeam tent or just on bikes with a little 3 man tent.

Here is the map of the site for 2026 (not sure how well it will show on here).

It will be a lot quicker to get in if you're on bikes :DD. There will be a BIG queue. Saying that, if I had a van I'd be tempted.

Is it £900 a pint in there or is it slightly better? Might have to see how many ciders incan fit in the panniers, an tie wrap the rest to the frame 😂

I've never stayed long enough to use the bar :) but below from their website...

With over 20 bars to choose from, you’re never far from a well-earned drink.

In 2025, guests could enjoy a pint for less than the £5 UK average all day long, with our daily Happy Hour bring the price of a crisp lager down to just £3.50.

The best spot for a pint onsite is the Spada Bar. Set in Lakeside, just behind the Bikerheadz stage (where the best tribute bands bring iconic tunes to life), this impressive 40-metre bar serves up a wide range of beers, ales, and spirits.

Last year it was quicker to get in with a van. At least it was when I arrived on Friday morning. I drove straight in, but heard tales of massive queues for bikes :nenau

No trouble when i vanned it in 2023 either.

Hope it's the same this year.

🤔🤔🤔
It's about 10 years and 4 grandchildren since we last used the tent, I have checked it recently along with the airbeds but not in the rain 🫣. I suppose it will be a good test for next years wild camping trip.
