Anyone got/seen any pics to do with a non-servo ABS brake fluid change?

Jim VB's does servo systems and the rep-rom I've 'seen' doesn't mention brake fluid.

There's a few curcuits and I don't know where all of them are or how to change the fluid on each circuit.

Someone must have some info???

Should be the conventional method eg bleed at the caliper whilst topping up the reservoir. I asked a trusted BMW mechanic about this very subject yesterday and that was his answer.

It's only a drama on the older Servo bikes because of the internal fluid reservoirs within the ABS pump (basically two hydraulic circuits per wheel instead of one). If you get air in the servo ABS unit or it runs dry, you have a problem.

Not a problem on the newer ABS systems.

Yea - it's just I don't know where everything is, given there's different circuits.

A diagram would help I guess ???

Your original post stated non-servo ABS brakes (ie the new type).

My dealer stated yesterday that on the newer non-servo ABS brakes you just bleed at the caliper and top up at the reservoir.

There are two reservoirs. One is on the handlebars just above the brake lever. The other should be on the right hand side of the bike, just above the rear brake pedal. The bleed nipples are on the calipers.

How hard can it be:nenau

Maybe you should get your dealer to do it just in case ?
