Having a weird problem with my non-servo ABS, works fine but under hard acceleration i get the alternate flashing lights, switching off the ignition and setting off again its all fine.
Ride about nice and gentle all day and no problems.

Fluid levels seem fine and air gap on front sensor is ok, not checked the rear air gap yet.

I'm wondering if this could be related to your under-reading speedo. Does you bike have a 17" front wheel fitted?

I had a similar issue; turns out the extra lip I put on the hand guard was causing it to rotate onto the brake lever when 'making progress'. Look for a simple solution first ;)

I've got the standard hand guards, but I'll check it out.

Is it possible wheelspin is confusing the gubbins ... or were you not going that hard?

:beerjug:

what bike is it is it a R1100gs if so I have done hard acceleration and never had that as a previous poster said it might be your alt belt slipping if you could tie on a volt meter and clock its reading ofc the elf and safety mob will tell you to take a pillion to read the meter :)
