I've yesterday for the first time myself sort of changed the fluids in my 2006 GSA (servos and ABS). I think that makes it ABS3?

Anyway, followed the instructions commonly available (service_abs3.pdf), and all seemed to be fine with the wheel circuits. But as I understand it, from the lever/pedal, you now only bleed the 'control circuits' - the two nipples nearest the ABS connector? But I couldn't really get any flow through these - pulling the lever/pedal halfway as instructed seemed to produce very little in both cases.

In frustration I eventually did the rear with an Eezibleed (under pressure) as I thought the low level of the reservoir might be the problem, which worked great, but i don't feel I should have had to! And couldn't do the front like that as i didn't have the right cap.

So am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions? Anyway much to my surprise it passed the GS-911 bleed test - I'm just not convinced I've changed all the fluid in the control circuits.

Hey mate,
My haynes manual says you should not attempt this as you need special diagnostics and machine to do so. Maybe im wrong but be careful.
Cheers

Think I have ABS with "integral brakes" (though not sure exactly what that means!).

I've just ordered a spare front reservoir cap from Sherlock's (£9.50) and am going to drill it so I can try my Eezibleed. It seemed to make the rear control circuit dead easy :bounce1 but didn't include a cap that fitted the front.

Yes, I've "passed" the bleed tests on the GS-911 - it's just the control circuit bleed routine that I'm a little confused about.

integral brakes mean, when you pull the front brake lever, it applies 100% front and a certain (think 30%) rear brake all at once

but when you apply rear brake, it just applies rear
