abs gsa 1150

iam having problems turning off my ABS ,i have a 05 gsa 1150.it might be that i just doinig it in the wrong order if any one could help let me know thanks ...steve

ABS off

1. Ignition off
2. Hold down ABS Button
3. Switch on ignition (still holding button down)
4. Keep holding button down until ABS Warning Light on dash remains on.
5. Release button

ABS should now be deactivated and ABS warning light should remain on.
To reactivate ABS just turn ingnition off, then back on (must be at standstill and both brakes released).
