After refitting the alternator it's charging fine

BUT
ABS light is blinking really quickly, not in the usual frequency during start up
Plugged GS911 and its saying there is too much pressure in rear brake circuit.
Any ideas guys?
I have brake fluid change scheduled next week, I wonder if this would do the trick.
If any one have come across this before please let me know thanks guys

It could be seized pistons in the back brake. A piston seal kit costs under £20 so worth doing as a precaution.

Out of interest did this fault only occur after you fitted the alternator?

If so you could try disconnecting the alternator plug and see if the fault disappears. You may have other faults displayed but it would be useful to see if it could be the alternator that's caused the issue.

In other vehicles sometimes if one of the phases in the alternator fails it can still charge but can also produces a stray AC signal that is picked up by the ABS system which subsequently records a fault.

On that question, is it possible the old alternator has had the voltage control fail? This can quickly kill a battery leading to ongoing issues even though the alternator has been replaced.

Possibly a non returning brake pedal holding pressure on the control circuit or "possibly" a delaminated rear flexible brake pipe at rear

I know that braided aren;t supposed to "delaminate" but its worth doing the checks before junking the system

basically if the pressure doesn't reduce to below accepted parameters it logs that fault

What is your history of changing the Brake fluids year on year??

You could always PM Steptoe, he is knowledgable about the ABS systems. Better than second guessing.
