ABS shuts down in the wet?

Every time I ride my 07 1200GSA in the wet the brake failure light come on (solid not flashing) and the ABS shuts down!

As soon as everything has dried out all is well again.
Can anybody point me in the right direction as to what I should be looking at?

It's not the hand guard thing and as I say, it only happens in the wet.

Sounds like a connector that should be water resistant, isn't. Or a chaffed wire that in the wet the moisture allows it to earth.

So any connector in the braking system? Or one of the wires

So get the brakes all set and working, ie ride off to get the ABS lights out and then spray wherever you can with a water spray and see if you can narrow down the problem. Using a hose pipe might be too much water, and not fine enough location IYSWIM.
