Best tyres in the wet?

After 4 sets of (old) Tourance I tryed the Anakee 2 and found the exellant tyres with fantasic wet weather grip, but possably looking at the Trail Attacks next. Dry grip is not my issue as they all are better than me but I like to feel confident in the wet (enough to still give it stick) anyone had issues with the CTA?
Although I dont go offroading it still gets muddy campsite and slighty off beaten track so dont want pure road tyres.

I used to find Pirelli Scorpion MT90STs to be better than Tourances in the wet but when I first tried the Conti Trail Attacks they were even better again.
I`d defo go for them.

Good results ON ROAD in the wet from the same Pirellis, here. too ... interesting about the CTs. though but unfortunately cant get them in Hong Kong ...

Metzelers were good but I like the Pirellis better and will go for the same, too - they have lasted a fair whack, so far about 23,000 kms and going strong - no serious squaring off and plenty of life in the tread and grip! Sweet!

conti trail attacks are great in the wet when new, but im finding as they wear they dont seem so great.

tourance's ive allways found pretty good through the life of the tyre.

and michelin pilot roads are very good too. the choice as they say.IS YOURS !!

During the six years I had my GS1150 for, I had at first Metzeler Tourance, they were Ok under all conditions, but as I hardly used the bike on anything other than tarmac I changed to Bridgestone 020's, they felt much better in the wet and on dry roads, but felt awful on gravel surfaces. After a few years on the Bridgestones I changed over to the Conti Trail Attacks, they were beter than the Bridgestones on gravel tracks, and felt just as good as the 020's on tarmac, and gave no nervous moments on wet roads.
I currently have Pirelli Scorpion Syncs on my Moto Guzzi Stelvio and they are very good on wet or dry tarmac and so far they have been ok on the odd bit of gravel track I've ventured on to.
I also now have an R100GS which is shod with the old style Conti Escapes, these have felt OK on dry roads, but I don't feel particularly confident with them in the wet. I have done a bit of gentle green laning on these tyres and they have been OK, but they are now due for renewal, I'm either likely to get Tourance or Trail Attacks, the Tourance may be the winner as I think they may be be better suited to easy green laning than the Trail Attacks.

Well over the years I have alot of tyres. The best on the 1150 dry and wet were (and are) Michelin Pilot Roads....however you want a little mild of road action and on wet campsite grass you won't be going anywhere on these.

Best compromise tyre I have had is the CTA but would agree that at 2/3rds wear they lose there wet advantage over Tourances.

I have decided to stick to the MPRs as 99% on the time I am on tarmac and they simply blow the CTAs and Tourances away in the wet.

Quite recently, I have been looking myself for a good wet tyre for the 1150GS.
After some digging work in the net I have found that the new Tourance EXP is oustanding in wet conditions. After a few hundred miles at the current weather I can only confirm that the wet grip level is amazing.
