ABS wont self test - help

ok so gs9-11 showing no faults

but both abs light stay on all the time flashing together in unison

did the abs reset but still hapening

dont hear the klunk klunk used ot hear when used do its test
 
Hi John, I've had it happen on my 1100 twice over the years. In both cases it was the aging battery getting weak & feeble, and not having enough juice left over after cranking the engine at startup, to arm the abs. The 1100 only seems to try arming the abs at startup, and isn't smart enough to try again when the alternator has re-juiced the battery.

Try taking it for a run to warm the engine up, and restarting the engine. There's less battery load cranking the engine when the oil is warm and thin. Also try charging the battery. If it works OK after these two tests, then your battery may be giving you fair warning that it's coming up for retirement.
 
new batt

just fitted last night

may be the damaed abs front sensor cable that i had fixed but may be broken agaon

but taught that would have thrown up a fault on computer

i appologise for being and idiot

it was the front sensor gap was too large. removed the spacer
