Accelerator Module, Anyone had cut out issues? 1150gs 2001

I've recently got one of these wee cable ones and was wondering if anyone had ever had issues with the bike cutting out?

The scenario for it has been when warmed up in town and pulling slowly across a junction ... scared the bejesus out of me.

Could this be attributed to TB sync or TPS? Or do you think the cable has made the low speed circuit too rich?

When mine cut out on me, I unplugged it and plugged it back in a gain, giving the connectors a good wiggle on connection. Had no further trouble.

The only thing I can think off is that I had a poor connection which caused the bike to cut out.
