Planning a 3 day trip from southern Scotland down to Holyhead and looking for recommendations for good places to stay along the way.

Thursday 29thAugust – Getting Belfast – Cairnryan ferry landing at 21.52.
Where is good to stay for night, Stranraer or Portpatrick.

Friday 30th Aug – Looking to stay in the Lake District possibly Windermere

Saturday – 31st Aug – Looking to stay in chester or north wales to be set for Sunday in Snowdownia national park etc.

Have routes well planned just looking for good places to stay along the way.

Hi mate
There is a nice pub at a place called sand head rear Stranraer its got nice rooms and they have a very nice pine bunk house a group of us have stayed there
