I tend to get an overnight ferry now as the garage on the MV Salamanca is pretty secure!

This place has been recommended before, close to Portsmouth with gated parking - Lysses House, Fareham

Will look into that one cheers, we get of the ferry about 5pm and need to get home to Leeds so rather stop the night on the way up and enjoy the ride home.
